My pet is having a reaction to it, what should I do?
If your pet is in danger or you think your pet is in danger, take the bottle and go directly to the veterinarian.
When using a flea product, you may notice that your dog or cat will start scratching itself as fleas begin to die. The scratching behavior is temporary and is a reaction to the fleas biting them, not the product. In very rare cases in cats, this may present as transient signs of hyperactivity, panting, vocalization and excessive grooming.
If you are unsure of what is going on with your pet then keep an eye on them and use common sense in making a decision on whether to continue with the next dose or not give the next dose or seek a veterinarians help.
We are not veterinarians and so cannot give you medical advice.

What is Nitenpyram?
Nitenpyram is a man-made chemical that has been around since 1989 and in 2000 it was approved by the FDA for use in Cats/kittens, Dogs/puppies to treat fleas and is considered very safe if the guidelines are followed.
Nitenpyram is only active for 24 hours in a pets system and has a shelf life of 2 years from its manufacture date not the manufacture date of the final product. Many unscrupulous sellers online date their product from the day they produced the final product which could be 6-12 months after the Nitenpyram was manufactured. This may cause some people to stock up on it thinking that it is still active when it is not. This causes many problems besides the buyers wasting their money, the fleas that have been exposed to the outdated or reduced effective Nitenpyram will then reproduce and have offspring that have a resistance to Nitenpyram. These offspring will then reproduce and in a very short time these fleas will have a resistance or tolerance to Nitenpyram and other more dangerous chemicals will need to be used to keep the flea population down.
There are 3 main types of Nitenpyram available on the market. First is lab grade which is the purest and most expensive and costs almost as much as gold. Second is pharmaceutical grade which is made by us, Canada and Japan. The third is agricultural grade which is made by many countries but mainly China. It should be noted that China does not make either lab or pharmaceutical grade Nitenpyram.
Caution should be used when buying products containing Nitenpyram from online sources since almost all of them are getting their Nitenpyram from China which is the world's main producer of agricultural Nitenpyram which should never
be given to your pet and can in a short time cause organ problems and may cause an immediate acute reaction or even death. Sometimes unknown health problems develop because of the heavy metals like lead and mercury that are in agricultural Nitenpyram.
What is Chloropyridyl?
Chloropyridyl is a man-made chemical that has been around since the the early 1900's and has been used extensively in one form or another called derivatives. These different derivatives can be either toxic or beneficial to both flora and fauna depending on how they are made along with what they are made from and you can find them in a variety of products from agriculture to medicines and even in beauty products for women.
Our Chloropyridyl process was created in the mid 1900's and then perfected in the late 1900's for use on animals and humans. Chloropyridyl is a very effective and safe product when manufactured and used correctly to kill certain insects and was seen as a miracle treatment when it first came out.
Chloropyridyl was so effective at killing certain insects that it fathered a whole industry of pet and human products to kill and prevent unwanted pests. It's only downfall was that it was very costly to make and test to ensure its safety, but with new testing and manufacturing processes available now it can be produced safely and tested for safety in a lab at reasonable costs.
We double test ours in two different and separate FDA approved labs to ensure the safety of the product and to protect your pet.
Why can I not find Chloropyridyl capsules from other companies?
Other companies do not want to invest in this product since it cannot be patented anymore and they can make more money off of a variety of other products that are specialized in treating one problem (like fleas) which forces the consumer to buy multiple products.
We here at K-Genics LLC love the effectiveness and broad spectrum of this product and so do our customers, so we have decided to invest in it and bring back to market a very effective and safe product.
Small companies or online sellers cannot buy it, since China does not produce it except in a very toxic agricultural derivative that is not for pets or livestock.

Can I give Nitenpyram or Chloropyridyl to a pregnant or nursing mother?
NO
Even though the FDA approved Nitenpyram for pregnant or nursing mothers; given the many years both products have been taken by pets, it is now understood that in some instances birth defects and fetal/neonatal loss were reported after usage by pregnant and/or lactating animals with these products and so they should not be given to pregnant or nursing mothers.
It is unfortunate but the way the law is written once a product is approved by the FDA even if later it has been found that problems exist in any sub-group, the product manufacture does not have to change their marketing or box labels and only has to put a disclaimer inside the box. So this is why you see people saying Nitenpyram is safe for pregnant and/or lactating animals, when it is not.
NO oral Flea killer should be given to a pregnant or nursing mother
I was told that I could give extra dosages to my pet, is this true?
NO
We have seen some online companies advertise that "If you are unsure if your pet took the pill, it is safe to give another one". Please do not do this, follow the instructions included with your product to avoid hurting your pet and if you bought a competitors product and they insist that it is ok to do this, then please get a refund from them and buy our product at a discount.
Our goal as is our re-sellers, is to take care of your pet at a reasonable price and help those in need.
I have tried other flea products and they did not work, do your products really work?
YES.
All of our products work exactly as described or your money back with no hassles.
They all kill fleas, while some kill other insects. Some use a safe chemical to kill the insects while others use a mixture of plant based products that are organic and natural to kill the insects.
Tetrad Caps™
kill: Fleas, Lice, Mites, mosquitoes and some Tics with a safe chemical.
Natures Choice™ kill: Fleas and Lice.
Mrs Flea Killer™ kill: Fleas.
Your pet has fleas (or Ticks or Lice or Mites) and by the time you notice them your house and yard do to. Each female flea can lay up to 50 eggs every single day so you probably have thousands if not hundreds of thousands of fleas by now. Nothing will kill them all at the same time except spraying with toxic chemicals which is not good for you, your kids or your pets. Our capsules are the safest and most effective way to kill the fleas and other indicated insects, but it will take some time to get them all.
Here is what is happening once you give your pet our capsules. Your pets have fleas and each pet can only hold so many fleas so the fleas are just hanging out, eating and defending their spot on your pet. Now you give your pet the dosage and as the fleas bite your pet they start to die and sometimes they bite a lot before they fall off. Then as the fleas fall off others jump on to replace the ones that have died and then this process is repeated until either you run out of product (not good) or all the fleas are dead (very good). So your pet may experience agitation in the beginning since they are being bitten so many more times, but that will calm down once the major load of fleas are dead. This is a process and it is very efficient since our products start to kill the fleas as soon as they bite your pet and prevent them from laying more eggs.
Our products work, but please understand they do not magically kill all the fleas/lice/mites/ticks in your house or yard on the very first day, but they do start killing them after they bite your pet.
You should expect to use the product for 2-4 weeks for a light infestation caught quickly and depending on where you live and the environment, usage may be seasonal or all year round.
Keep your pet on
one of our products
during the summer months or during tick season to maintain protection and help prevent tick borne diseases.
Are your products safe to use around my baby?
YES.
Our oral products are taken through the mouth and as such do not leave any residual on the pet like topical or drops put on the back of the pet, so your whole family can interact with the family pet without fear of cross-contamination.
How can I test if the product is working?
I don't think the product is working, what should I do?
If you doubt that it is working, wait between 30 to 60 minutes after you have given the dose depending on the product you purchased and put your pet in a bathtub with a little bit of warm water just covering their paws or on a dark table or sheet and watch the fleas/lice/mites die and fall off. Don’t do it on your carpet since you won’t be able to see them fall off.
Ticks with ourTetrad Caps™
are a little different, normally you won’t know that it is working since the ticks start to die as soon as they bite your pet and fall off before you get home, which is good since it minimizes the ticks time to transmit diseases to your pet and your pet won’t bring them home. Sometimes you will find a dead tick still attached to your pet and you will need to carefully remove it ensuring you get the head. If your pet has a bunch of ticks on them when you give them the Tetrad Caps™
you can watch them fall off just like with the fleas, lice and mites.
Our products work, but please understand, they do not magically kill all the fleas/lice/mites/ticks in your house the very first day, but they do start killing every one that bites your pet.
You should expect to use the product for 2-4 weeks for a light infestation caught quickly and depending on where you live and the environment, usage may be seasonal or all year round.

Something is wrong, What should I do?
When using a product that kills biting insects like fleas, lice and mites you may notice that your pet will start scratching itself as the insects begin to die and bite them more. The scratching behavior is temporary and is a reaction to the insect, not the product. In very rare cases in cats, this may present as transient signs of hyperactivity, panting, vocalization and excessive grooming.
Nitenpyram or Chloropyridyl are known to cause certain side effects with regular use, under certain circumstances, whereas other adverse reactions may be the result of inappropriate usage. Side effects also differ depending on whether your pet is a dog or cat.
It is very important that if you are using a product for more than 2-3 weeks that you follow the dosage requirements listed on both the bottle and the insert. Please read all included instructions.
The most common side effects that affect dogs and cats include lethargy or hyperactivity, incoordination and trembling and nervousness. They may also experience excessive panting, vomiting, itching, inappetence, and diarrhea.
Other side effects that cats may exhibit include pupil dilation, increased heart rate, vocalization, fever, and salivation.
Both cats and dogs may also experience an allergic reaction that is characterized by hives, difficulty breathing, and swelling of the lips or tongue.
There is also a risk that combining with other medications, treatments or products may lead to other adverse effects.
IMPORTANT: Some pets for unknown reasons have abnormal reactions which are rare, but if your pet experiences anything but hyperactivity, nervousness, excessive panting, itching, inappetence, vocalization, or salivation; STOP do not give another dose and contact your Veterinarian office and consult with them. DO NOT Ignore these signs!
If your pet experiences any reaction please re-read the insert and use common sense in evaluating whether to continue with the dosage or seek medical advice.
We are not veterinarians and so cannot give you medical advice.
Can I return the bottle and get a refund?
YES
Please contact the store that you purchased it from first.
Why do you not have a monthly treatment like Lufenuron?
Lufenuron works only on female fleas (it does not kill them) while Nitenpyram (Mrs Flea Killer™) kills both male and female fleas, while Natures Choice™ kills both male and female Fleas and Lice, and Chloropyridyl (Tetrad Caps™) kills both male and female Fleas, Ticks, Lice and Mites, and our own testing shows that it also kills mosquitoes.
Basically Lufenuron works after the flea has bitten your pet (just like Nitenpyram and Chloropyridyl) but unlike Nitenpyram and Chloropyridyl it does not kill the flea. What Lufenuron does is makes it so the female flea lays eggs that have problems hatching. Now while this sounds like a good idea, we here at K-Genics LLC think it is a waste of money and risk to your pet and so we do not sell or make Lufenuron products, here is why.
Lufenuron works by causing issues with the eggs so they do not hatch, it does nothing to the eggs that are already laid nor does it kill any fleas already hatched. So basically your pet will keep getting bit by fleas until the fleas you have die of old age and the eggs that were laid before the Lufenuron treatment (which could be hundreds of thousands) hatch and those new fleas die of old age. In addition since female fleas lay their eggs in different areas and not all female fleas will bite your pet, you could have millions of fleas waiting for your pet to come into their area and get bitten and then when you take your pet out to the park they could also bring back more fleas to your house.
So this means that you and your pet will be living with fleas for at least 6 months and maybe years (not good) and if you ever take your pet somewhere they will be unprotected and bring home more fleas and you will never get rid of the fleas.
While this is very good for the company that is selling you the Lufenuron, it is not good for you or your pet.
This means that the company not only gets to sell you Lufenuron but now they can convince you that you need another product Nitenpyram to kill the fleas. So you get to pay for two products and give your pet two different chemicals, not good.
Natures Choice™, Nitenpyram and Chloropyridyl kill all fleas after 1 bite and a dead flea cannot lay any eggs. Your pet becomes a flea killing machine until all the fleas are dead and gone.
An added bonus is because of K-Genics LLC purity once the major flea load is knocked down, you only have to give a dose to your pet every 2 days vs every day for other products, so now not only are you saving money but your pet does not have to be on two different types of products and all your fleas will be gone!
Save your money buy one of our great products!
Someone told me that Nitenpyram is from the Nightshade family of plants, is that true?
NO.
Many online sellers of Nitenpyram are just regular people making capsules at home and have no real understanding of what Nitenpyram is or how it works.
Nitenpyram is a neonicotinoid chemical, which, loosely translated, means: "new or novel nicotine-related" chemical. Neonicotinoid insecticides are synthetic variations of nicotine (man-made variations of nicotine). Nicotine is a natural alkaloid compound that exists within the leaves of a variety of plant species of the Genus Nicotiana, including those trees responsible for producing tobacco (as in cigarettes). Nitenpyram and other drugs of the neonicotinoid family act on the same bodily receptors as the drug nicotine does but they are not nicotine. These receptors are called nicotinic acetylcholine receptors (nAChR).
Since they act upon the receptors like nicotine but are not nicotine they do not get your pet addicted to nicotine and your pet has no nicotine related issues.
Why do the fleas keep coming back?
Basically you keep getting fleas, ticks, lice and mites because either your pet went into an area where the insects were at like the woods, park, friend’s house or even the Veterinarian office and then brought them home to you or they can even get re-infected by going to a different part of the house or yard that they have not been in for a while.
To prevent re-infestation:
It is important to make sure all areas of your property have been visited by your pet while they are on our products and no insects have bothered your pet for a few weeks
1 hour before you take your pet somewhere they could pick up insects, give them a dose
If you live on acres or your pet free-roams then you might consider keeping them on a maintenance dose every 48 hours.
See How to Prevent re-Infestation.
How to Prevent re-Infestation
The best way to prevent re-Infestation is to give the product to all your pets at the same time per the directions included with each product and then before your pet goes into an area that may be infected, give your pet a preventative dose. This will help ensure that your pet does not bring home any unwanted guests.
If you forget and your pet becomes re-Infestation, start the dosage process over again as described in the instructions for the product you purchased as soon as possible.
Keeping your pet on a maintenance dosage for the spring, summer and fall months will help greatly in preventing a re-Infestation and we sell bulk packages at greatly reduced prices for just this reason.
I found a tick on my pet, why is it not dead?
Sometimes ticks don't die or jump off right away which could be attributed to many different factors like; your pet is no longer taking a dose or your pet is on a maintenance dose and it is almost ready for the next dose or it is a large tick and it just dug in and has not started feeding yet. Whatever the case may be, you can manually remove the tick or ensure your pet has the right dosage in their system or wait and see if it falls off.
If your pet is not currently on a dose then follow the instructions included with your purchase and they should fall off shortly.
I want protection too, can I take this stuff?
NO.
While you will find online personal stories of people taking some products only approved for pets and many of those stores will tell you to only use the purest products available, the FDA and K-Genics LLC do not recommend people take unapproved products.
If you are looking for DIY, self-help, self-treatment or off label application options then we would suggest you do extensive research and only use reliable sources for determining your course of action and products usage, but under no circumstances will K-Genics LLC be held liable if Instructions, Warnings and Cautions are not followed on the product insert or you take the product.
Your family physician or physician assistant is a good resource that could be used to help guide you.
Can I use this on my other animals besides Dogs & Cats?
Depending on the product you have purchased, some can be safely used on other animals; but if we do not list them on the product then we do not recommend it and it is considered an off-label application.
